Term 1 Coaching Period

Swimmers will also need to renew their 2022/23 Annual General Membership if this has not yet been done.

This Squad is for competitive swimmers who are seeking to make finals or medals at the Open/Age National Championships. A high level of commitment is expected along with a mature and responsible attitude towards training.

National Squad caters for athletes aged primarily 16 and above.

Swimmers in this squad attend 8-9 sessions per week. These swimmers have access to a comprehensive dry-land program that includes musculo-skeletal screening, individually tailored strength conditioning and yoga classes.

Individual practice requirements are determined by the Head Coach based on age, training background and ability.

Swimmers are invited by the Head Coach, to be members of this squad.
