The Junior Squad provides opportunities for swimmers to develop all aspects of stroke technique, fitness levels and race skills to prepare for competitions.

The Junior Squad caters for children aged primarily 9 to 12 years who are swimming at a competitive club level.

These swimmers have access to a comprehensive dry-land program that includes musculoskeletal screening and group-based functional movement activities.

Swimmers begin attending 3 sessions per week and build up to 5 sessions per week depending on their age and ability if they would like to progress through the squad pathway.
